Bergen based Audrey Horne brought a lot of people out early on a picturesque Norwegian summer day. Former Him mainman Ville Valo tested the theory that vampires can't be seen in sunlight, performing as VV on the main stage. Vreid occupied the Vampire stage with pyro, explosions and fireworks. The scent of gunpowder never dissipated.

Tony Harnell reunited with TNT never sounded so good. The man still has some high end left in the tank! Ronni Le Tekro decked out in white, head-to-toe, complete with headband, feathers and bell bottoms. Massive crowd for Pantera, playing only the heavier tracks. Gojira, pulled a majority of that large crowd, despite playing a smaller area, and got into the pyro barrage as well.

Ghost capped the night, in full spectacle. Here's a sampling of the day's event, minus imposed photographic restrictions. A report on the entire festival will be forthcoming.
